THE KALI MAJAPAHIT STORY

The beginnings of Kali Majapahit started in the 90’s, when Guro Fred, already a Kung Fu World Champion, met Guro Jeff Espinous who was teaching Kali Sikaran in Paris. This sparked a love affair with Kali that led Guro Fred to California, where he met and trained with Suro Mike Inay. These pillars of Filipino Martial Arts carry the teachings of legendary Masters Dan Inosanto, Max Sarmiento and Angel Cabales. This is the lineage of Kali Majapahit.

In 1998, Guro Fred opened Ni Tien Martial Arts on the island paradise of Tahiti, laying the foundations of Kali Majapahit. Later, Guro Fred and his wife, Guro Lila, began a 4-year journey around the world learning from martial arts Masters in Laijutsu, Kendo, Tai Chi, Muay Thai and Hakka Kung Fu. Their journey ended in Singapore, where Kali Majapahit was officially opened in 2006.
